M-3 SURGERY CLERKSHIP Program Director: Dr. Rahul J. Anand During the third year, students receive clinical training by rotating through the various hospitals and ambulatory services. Kaplan The curriculum in surgery is comprehensive to include didactic, research and clinical training. LEARN MORE Cardiothoracac Surgery Program Director: Dr. Vigneshwar Kasirajan A three-year program to provide training in adult and pediatric cardiac surgery and non-cardiac thoracic surgery. Strauss Residents who complete the four-year curriculum fulfill all the prerequisites and requirements of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and are eligible for the board's examination. Pozez The Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Division provides training in cosmetic (aesthetic) surgery as well as reconstructive surgery and hand surgery. LEARN MORE Urology Program Director: Dr. B. Mayer Grob A five-year teaching program (PGY-1 surgery internship plus PGY 2-5 of urology residency) encompasses all phases of adult and pediatric urology, leading to American Board of Urology certification eligibility. Two residents are accepted into the training program each year.
