Welcome to the Division of Plastic and
Reconstructive Surgery at the Virginia
Commonwealth University Health System. We are an internationally recognized
group of board certified plastic and
reconstructive surgeons and researchers
with extensive training and experience
in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive
surgery.

Our group addresses not only cosmetic
surgery and aesthetic surgical procedures
but also addresses patients who need
reconstructive surgery as a result of
disease, congenital malformation, or
tragic accident.
Our Center
for Facial Reconstruction offers multidisciplinary
care for patients with craniofacial birth
anomalies and our Wound
Healing Center offers comprehensive care for individuals
suffering from non-healing wounds.
The decision to have surgery is not
a minor one. Every effort is made to
ensure that each of our patients is comfortable
with his or her decision to undergo cosmetic
or reconstructive surgery. Not every
consult will lead to surgical intervention,
and alternatives, when appropriate, will
be discussed.
